McQ's (Tartan Arms) :- McQ's is also known as the
Tartan Arms
and was established in 1887.
With the same family still serving the community this is a homely place to relax with a drink or enjoy a bar meal.
There are
special nights to which people from far and wide attend, Cabaret, Dances,
Christmas packages to mention only some. There are many charity nights that take place
organised by people in the village and also quiz competitions to take part in.
The small Function room can be hired for special family events such as
birthdays. The larger public function room can cater for Wedding Parties, Office
night outs and during the day can be used for bringing people together at times
of sadness when it is used for a Funeral Function.
