The Allan Church Board meets at 7pm on the second Wednesday of each month
The Board are responsible for the fabric of the church, halls and manse and part of the Board is our Social Committee who hold various functions throughout the year to help raise funds.
Although it is always the aim of
the Church to be self sufficient through the giving of its members we realise
that there are many calls on peoples time, talents, and money and because of
those commitments there has to
be a certain amount of find raising. The Social Committee regards fund raising
as fulfilling two certain aspects within our church.
First it raises funds and secondly, which is more important it provides a social
get together for the member of our congregation and people from within and out with
the parish.
The Board consists of all our Session Members and representatives from our congregation. Each member of the Board is linked to an Elder and can help the elder with district duties.
